Forms shaped by algorithm, made real in clay. BinaryCeramics is my studio in Athens. I design ceramic forms as systems of rules, and I design and build the printers and extruders that make them.
“Binary” is the zero and one behind the code, and also the tension the work lives in: digital and physical, machine precision and material plasticity, control and emergence.

Rotation, warm and cold air, a simple rule that becomes a storm.

A record of waves, each set slightly different from the last.

How much complexity can a few simple rules produce?

One continuous line that crosses itself into separate volumes.

Sound, analysed and encoded into a ceramic surface.
