After the Stars

Photographs from a road trip through the American West: Yosemite, the Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend and Big Sur.

Most of them were taken at the edges of the day or long after it, including star trails turning over Yosemite Falls, the Milky Way above a campfire, and granite and water in the last light.
